    Curant Health is searching for a Claims Adjudication Coordinator to join its team in Smyrna, GA

     

    Responsibilities

    With your passion to help patients, your drive to make an impact on those you care for, and your commitment to customer service, you will serve as the primary link between our patients, physicians and pharmacy. We have listed a few or your responsibilities below:

     

     

    • Accurately performs the billing and adjudication functions in PioneerRx.
    • Gathers proper information relating to new patient packages, drug monographs, invoices and credit card payments.
    • Notifies Patient Care Coordinators of all exceptions and errors in a timely and productive manner.
    • Responsible for all communication to ensure that action items that were not processed as planned by the Patient Care Coordinators (PCC’s) are complete (any insurance rejections, prior authorizations, problems with patient packet assembly, etc.).
    • Checks cycles for missing prescriptions and copay assistance options as well as charges credit cards as needed
    • Performs QA functions on all claims in Pioneer Rx daily/weekly/monthly.
    • Applies for copay assistance for eligible claims

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Working knowledge of pharmacy claims adjudication and copay assistance options currently available.
    • At least 2 years of relevant work experience and/or pharmacy technician experience
    • Must be Registered and/or Certified Pharmacy Technician in the state of Georgia
    • Experience in a retail pharmacy environment or a claims adjudication environment is preferred
    • PioneerRX software experience is preferred
