    Curant Health is searching for a PRN Intake Pharmacist to join its team in Smyrna. GA


    With your passion to help patients, your drive to make an impact on those you care for, and your commitment to customer service, you will serve as the primary link between our patients, physicians and pharmacy. We have listed a few or your responsibilities below:

    •  Responsible for daily completion of all activities related to verification processing of prescriptions in accordance with the organization’s policies and all applicable laws.
    • Overseeing supportive personnel, dispensing of medications, performing prescription transfers, drug interaction reviews and drug utilization reviews. 
    • Responsible for acting as an information resource to patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy and drug related information and literature.
    • Fosters an environment that nurtures collaboration, teamwork, and mutual respect through effective communication, and demonstrates positive communication skills evidenced by effective working relationships. Communicate clearly and effectively both in person and on the phone to a variety of audiences including patients, doctors, hospitals, pharmacists and staff.

    • Requires a bachelor's degree and/or an advanced degree in pharmacy
    • 3 years of experience
    • Licensed in the state of Georgia
    • Strong staff and patient relationship skills
    • Strong professional and organizational skills
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
    • Must be familiar with pharmacy dispensing systems and processes
