    Curant Health is searching for a Clinical Service Director to join its team in Smyrna, GA.

     

    As the Clinical Services Director, we will look to you to design, develop, and implement clinical pharmacy programs and strategies for Curant Health. The Director focuses on improving and documenting patient outcomes through a variety of programs including Care Management and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).

We have listed a few of your responsibilities below:

      

    • Plan, organize, and lead Curant Health’s clinical activities. In particular, promote Medication Therapy Management (MTM), Care Management, and sound pharmaceutical care through the development of new (or expansion of existing) pharmacy practice programs, drug therapy policies, and other programs.
    • Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and management of ‘best-in-class’ therapy centric programs that deliver value to customers including physicians, patients, payers, manufacturers, and health systems.
    • Establish practical, executable, measurable, and financially viable plans of intervention, including relevant reporting capabilities that strengthen evidence-based medicine performance.
    • Track and Report on Clinical initiatives that impact drug utilization, clinical education and staff development, management of appropriate drug utilization, and quality improvement activities.
    • Serves as a subject matter expert and liaison to sales, product development and account management areas to ensure solutions meet current and anticipated market needs
    • Gather feedback from leadership, sales, consultants, industry sources and internal stakeholders to establish a short-term and long-term strategic plan to offer clinical programs that achieve industry leading outcomes.

    Qualifications

    • Pharm D degree from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy
    • Active license to practice pharmacy in the State of GA, FL, other (or eligible to reciprocate)
    • Five or more years’ experience as a clinical pharmacist
    • Minimum two years in a supervisory/management position
    • Experience leading clinical studies and proving outcomes
    • Residency Training or BCPS certification preferred
    • Knowledge - has thorough knowledge of medications and clinical pharmacy activities.
    • Able to interpret literature to provide formulary guidance and pharmacoeconomic data
