Curant Health is searching for a Pharmacy Technician-Patient Care Coordinator to join its team in St. Petersburg, FLThe Pharmacy Technician / Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for managing the prescription fulfillment process from inception to delivery by compiling and maintaining patient data to document patient's prescription profile, conditions and treatment. This position serves as a link between patient, physician and pharmacy

Responsibilities

  • Provide a superior patient experience by providing pharmacy customer service to an assigned group of patients.
  • Make outgoing refill reminder calls to patients.
  • Generate reorder paperwork for the pharmacy department to fulfill the refill request.
  • Document all pertinent information on patient communications.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively both in person and on the phone to a variety of audiences including patients, patient care providers, physicians, pharmacists and staff.
  • Assists Pharmacy Department as needed.
  • Accurately load patients in PioneerRx, including verifying insurance, inputting medical records, updating and maintaining as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Must be registered in the state of Florida as a Pharmacy Technician; Certificate is a plus
  • Experience in a retail pharmacy environment is preferred
  • PioneerRX software experience is preferred

Salary-$14-$17 per hour
